Meet the Newest Addition to My Family: Oyuki! 🐱 (Leave it up to my mom to assign exotic and unique names!)

Oyuki was just a little, tiny kitten when she arrived to our house a couple of weeks ago. (My family and I believe that Oyuki is Chanel's daughter because they came to our house together.) I cannot distinguish the gender clearly, but I think this is a female kitten. I believe that my mom named her "Oyuki" because she is like a ninja or samurai. This kitten is so active and jumps anywhere, so I think that is why my mom found a Japanese name for her. Oyuki is the most playful kitty that I have ever met. Do you guys remember Boots? Boots was playful, but he never played with those toys that are for cats. Oyuki, on the other hand, has the time of her life chasing after the little ball with the feather attached. I am not really a cat person, so interacting with Oyuki by playing with the cat toy is changing my perspective of cats. (I had a REALLY bad experience with a black cat when I was younger, so I have this skepticism when it comes to cats.)

It was not until today that Oyuki got comfortable around us, so today marks the day that we accept her in our household. Oyuki can be my mom's daughter. My hands are full with Da Vinci LOL!
