Happy Memorial Day!

To all the men and women who has served our country, and to those who are still active, thank you for your services! One of the bravest men I know, who has served in the Korean War, is my boyfriend's grandfather, Luis Reyes Rodriguez. He truly is an amazing person, and I do not know how life would be like without him because he is like a father figure in my boyfriend's life and a grandfather figure in mine. May God bless him and all those people who are away from their families. This day in particular is a dedication to you guys for a reason. You guys are the real reason we are allowed to do things more freely than other countries, and even though some court decisions are unfair or unjust, I am proud of being an American! *FYI: The military police officer saluting the people in the car at the beginning of the video is my boyfriend's "dad"/my grandpa! :-)

Friday Night Movie: 'Fast and Furious 6'!

Hey guys!

I watched Fast & Furious 6 yesterday and it was freaking awesome! All I have to say (so I will not spoil the movie for everyone) is that the actors deserve every single penny that this movie earns! I do not doubt that this movie will rake in millions during its first week at the box office; it was THAT good!

There were a lot of things that were very superficial (like my mom said: "Only in movies!"), but it did have me on the edge of my seat most of the time! There were so many twist and turns (in the plot and... on the streets LOL)! Will there be a Fast & Furious 7? Hmmm... You guys are going to have to watch it for yourselves to find out! ;-)

Hey guys!

I am at the hospital this very moment (6:00 AM) because my mom has to get a cardiac catheterization done. My mom has to get this procedure done because just over a week ago, she had a stress test done at her cardiologist's office to indicate if there were any problems with her arteries and her heart. Well, it just so happens my mom may have one clogged artery, so therefore, she has to undergo a cardiac catheterization for the doctor to check if she does indeed have a clogged artery. Detecting a clogged artery early helps prevent future heart attacks that may lead to death. If she does not have a clogged artery, hallelujah! If she does have a clogged artery, the procedure will include the doctor opening her artery up like a balloon to allow normal blood flow and she will have to stay the night to make sure everything is A-OK! I will be taking photos of her throughout the day so you guys can see how she is doing.

It would be immensely appreciated if you guys prayed along with my family and I during this nerve-wrecking moment! I am trying to keep a positive mindset for my mom, but nothing seems to be helping my her with her nerves!
