My mom, fellow colleagues, and myself participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk! It felt so good to wake up as early as I did to do something productive on my Saturday morning and participate at an event benefiting the research and cure of breast cancer.
The survivors and their families, as well as families of those that lost the battle against breast cancer truly inspire me that no matter what predicament I am in, if I have faith, I will persevere like a champion. This day marks a day that I will never forget.
I have never been to Vinoy Park before. There is a first time for everything, and I loved the park. It is a nice, serene place where I can go and walk with Da Vinci. I had so much fun, all in the name of raising awareness!
